Edith Street Studio
Built on the land of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation.
This small addition to a strata titled unit is sited between a school, town sump and residential tower.
Taking advantage of the optimum solar orientation of the site, the writing studio is lifted above the open carport and is a private eyrie to the surrounding suburb.
The project cheerfully embraces its local context, enhances privacy without compromising neighbours’ amenity and accommodates a family with a variety of desires.
